Lake Life Begins With Gage.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items across assigned stations (salad, fry, grill, or sauté) according to recipes and standardsSlice, cut, shred, tenderize, and skewer meat, fish, and vegetables as needed for serviceBraise, grill, fry, or sauté ingredients while maintaining quality and consistencyCook proteins and vegetables to customers' preferences while preventing cross-contaminationTrack meal components to ensure timely completion and plating of dishesMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all timesInform the manager of any equipment maintenance, repair, or replacement needsWork collaboratively with chefs, servers, and team members during peak serviceQualificationsPrevious cooking experience in a restaurant kitchen preferred; willing to train the right candidateStrong work ethic, reliability, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of food safety and handling proceduresGood communication skills and a team-oriented attitudeAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsPassion for food and a positive, problem-solving mindsetFull-time and part-time positions are available. Weekend and evening availability will be required.
