Duties Develop comprehensive interior design concepts for residential projects, including space planning, color schemes, furniture selection, and lighting design Create detailed drawings and presentations using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino3D, and 3ds Max to visualize design ideas effectively Produce high-quality renderings and 3D models to communicate design intent clearly to clients and project teams Prepare construction detail documentation and specifications that meet building code compliance and safety standards Manage multiple design projects simultaneously by coordinating timelines, budgets, and client expectations Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs adhere to local regulations and accessibility standards Collaborate with clients through regular communication to refine designs, present proposals, and incorporate feedback seamlessly Requirements Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing residential interior projects Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam for drafting, presentations, and graphic design Skilled in 3D modeling for architectural visualization using tools like 3ds Max or Rhino3D Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) tools for efficient project coordination Strong understanding of construction detail documentation and renovation processes Ability to analyze building codes and ensure building code compliance throughout all phases of design Excellent client communication skills with a proactive approach to managing design projects from concept through completion Familiarity with lighting sales, lighting design principles, color theory, and remodeling processes is preferred Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines effectively Join our team as an Interior Designer where your creativity meets technical mastery!
