Clinical SpecialistSouthern California | Los Angeles or San Diego Metro$109K–$119K Base + $30K Bonus + Up to ~$15K Geographic DifferentialCompany Car + Excellent BenefitsI'm recruiting for a Clinical Specialist with an established medical device company supporting advanced technology used in Cardiac Cath Labs, Hybrid ORs and Interventional Radiology Labs.This is an excellent opportunity for an RCIS, RN, RT or experienced cardiovascular lab professional who wants to leverage their clinical expertise in a field-based medical device role.The RoleThe Clinical Specialist works directly with Interventional Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Vascular/Cardiothoracic Surgeons, RNs and technologists, providing procedural support, clinical education, equipment installation, training and ongoing support.You'll partner closely with the sales team to drive successful technology adoption and utilization within hospital accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on procedural and clinical support in Cath Labs, Hybrid ORs and IR LabsWork side-by-side with physicians and clinical teams during proceduresTrain physicians, RNs, technologists and other staff on safe and effective technology utilizationSupport equipment installations, new-account implementations and clinical adoptionIdentify training needs and help convert non-adopters into confident usersSupport product demonstrations and evaluations at prospective accountsDevelop relationships with physicians, management, RNs, technologists, educators and Bio-MedPartner with the Territory Sales Manager to increase technology utilizationProvide ongoing clinical support to existing hospital accountsQualificationsRequired:RCIS, RN, RT or related healthcare credential/license3+ years of clinical experience in a Cath Lab, interventional or peripheral cardiovascular environmentStrong knowledge of interventional procedures and lab workflowExcellent clinical training and presentation skillsAbility to communicate confidently with physicians and clinical staffStrong problem-solving and relationship-building skillsAbility to travel 70–80%Valid driver's licensePreferred:Bachelor's degree5+ years of diagnostic/interventional cardiovascular lab experienceScrub experiencePrevious medical device or sales experienceTravel & CoverageThis is a field-based position ideally located in the Los Angeles or San Diego metro area.The Clinical Specialist will provide support across multiple levels of coverage:Tier 1: CaliforniaTier 2: West Coast/Western U.S., including Hawaii and Alaska and extending east to MontanaTier 3: National support as neededCandidates should be comfortable with approximately 70–80% travel.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $109K–$119KAnnual Bonus Opportunity: $30KGeographic Pay Differential: Up to approximately $15K annually for eligible Los Angeles/San Diego-based candidatesPotential Total Cash Compensation: approximately $154K–$164KCompany car + gas cardAll business travel expenses covered401(k) with up to 5% company matchMedical, dental, vision and life insuranceTuition reimbursementPaid time off and company holidaysPaid family leave
